Design a responsive online platform for a magazine, newspaper or blog with deliver consistent, branded and engaging experience

She wants to invest more in self-care and self-love while being good to others, seeding a more empathic society.
Goals: be more rational, discover new passions, achieve a good work-life balance.
Visual Competitive Analysis
In selecting the magazine name we decided on Unravel as it speaks to discovering the truth of a thread. For the logo creation I wanted something very clean, very simple, very modern and scalable.
Brand Name & Logo Creation
In selecting the magazine name we decided on Unravel as it speaks to discovering the truth of a thread. For the logo creation I wanted something very clean, very simple, very modern and scalable.
Color Palette
I wanted something that was grounded yet had a welcoming, warm overall feel. I also wanted to keep the palette limited yet dynamic, I accomplished this by choosing bold contrasting colors.
Imagery
I went with images that I felt not only accentuated what the articles were about but told a story themselves. I wanted a feeling of deliberate choice and cohesiveness despite the disparate topics the magazine would cover.
Illustrations
I really wanted to punch up the overall look and give the site a personality beyond the content. With that in mind I customized illustrations I felt would speak to and entice the desire demographic to become regular readers of the magazine.
